As artificial intelligence, automation and robotics continue to transform business operations, seeing these technologies in action has become more valuable than ever. Our recent AI and Robotics Factory Tour in Shenzhen gave participants a first-hand look at how smart automation is being applied across real business scenarios, from commercial service robots to intelligent cooking systems.

Learning from Leading Robotics Companies in Shenzhen

Led by our co-founder Steve Yu, the exclusive tour brought together representatives from leading Hong Kong companies to explore how AI-powered robotics can improve efficiency, consistency and service quality. The group visited PUDU Robotics, known for AI-driven service robots for commercial delivery, cleaning, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and industrial environments, as well as T-Chef Tech, a Shenzhen-based company focused on intelligent cooking equipment and smart kitchen solutions for Chinese cuisine.

At PUDU Robotics, participants saw how commercial service robots can support daily operations by reducing repetitive manual tasks and streamlining workflows. From delivery robots to cleaning robots, the visit demonstrated how robotics can help businesses create safer, more efficient and more reliable service environments.

How Smart Kitchen Technology Supports Food Service Innovation

The visit to T-Chef Tech highlighted the growing role of smart kitchen technology in the catering and food service sectors. Its intelligent cooking robots and smart kitchen systems showed how automation can support Chinese cuisine preparation, standardise food quality, improve production consistency and help address labour challenges in commercial kitchens.

The Business Value of AI and Robotics

The key takeaway from the factory tour was clear: AI and robotics are no longer future concepts. They are practical tools that can help organisations enhance productivity, optimise operations and strengthen service delivery today. For business leaders, the tour offered more than a technology showcase—it provided meaningful insight into how intelligent automation can create real-world value and open new opportunities for digital transformation.
